We are an international and interdisciplinary non-profit organization incorporated in 1994 for the purpose of promoting the development of new, more socially beneficial applications of psychoanalysis to important social and cultural issues.
An annual membership in APCS includes a free subscription to our journal, Psychoanalysis, Culture & Society, as well as a reduced registration fee for our Annual Conference (typically held in the fall of each year). We also host a member listserv for ongoing interaction and discussion.
The current annual membership fee is $100 (U.S). Although our membership term runs from November through October of each year, members joining later in the year may request back copies of the journal issues published that year.

Our members and board of directors are eager to welcome you as a new or renewing member.
With best wishes,
