We are an international and interdisciplinary non-profit organization incorporated in 1994 for the purpose of promoting the development of new, more socially beneficial applications of psychoanalysis to important social and cultural issues.

Psychoanalysis, Culture & Society is the official publication of APCS, and is published quarterly by Palgrave.
PCS critically addresses the intersection between psychoanalysis and the social world, and explores the roles psychoanalysis might play in bringing about social justice and progressive social change.
The journal is of interest to scholars in media, cultural and literary studies as well as psychoanalysts with a focus on these issues.
Members of APCS receive a full annual subscription by mail as a benefit of membership.
